Student in court for racially-abusing police
Blackburn magistrates heard one officer was kicked in the stomach as Sheher Noor (20) lashed out as he was being put in the back of a van.
Noor spoke to an Asian officer in Urdu and said to him: “Do something bro, you are Asian help me out.”

Hide AdNoor, of Wycoller Avenue, Burnley, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duty, being drunk and disorderly and racially aggravated threatening behaviour.
He was made subject to community supervision for 12 months with a 20 day rehabilitation activity requirement and 100 hours unpaid work. He was ordered to pay £50 compensation to the officer who was assaulted and the one who was racially abused, £180 criminal court charge and £85 costs.
Catherine Allan (prosecuting) said police called to Astley Gate in Blackburn saw Noor screaming, waving his arms and trying to hit another man.
