Storm uproots tree on busy main road in Burnley
Storm Ali hit Burnley this afternoon and uprooted a tree on a busy main road.
Gusts upended the large tree in Rossendale Road, partially falling into the road and causing motorists to drive around it.
Storm Ali is the UK's first named storm of the season.
An amber warning, meaning "be prepared", is in place for Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern England.
