Stonyhurst College students’ joy at A-Level results

Some 71% of papers taken at the Hurst Green college scored A*, A or B grades to give the college its best ever results with 20% of candidates scoring straight A* or A grades.

Top performing departments included economics and chemistry.

Head teacher Mr Andrew Johnson said: “My colleagues and I are delighted for our students. Achieving such outstanding grades is a fitting reward for their hard work.

“I also congratulate and thank Stonyhurst teachers for the excellent support they have given their students.”
