Slaidburn man bit victim in Clitheroe takeaway row

Blackburn magistrates heard that 32-year-old Shaun Patrick Kenny attacked Richard Lund as he intervened in a fight between their respective partners.

Kenny, of Townend, Slaidburn, pleaded guilty to assault. He was remanded on bail for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Krystal Savoy (defending) said Kenny had no recollection of the incident and wondered if his drinks had been spiked.
