Garden waste collection charges are to be introduced

Residents need to sign up to ensure there is no break in their garden waste collection service.

Burnley Council is introducing a new chargeable service from 1st May.

Residents who want to continue the service need to sign up by April 16th to ensure collections continue without a break. Householders can sign up any time after – but they will miss out on some collections.

The new service costs £30 for the 12-month period starting May 1st and covers 20 collections a year.
