Amanda Kerr (35) has more than 160 offences on her record.

Burnley magistrates were told that she did not comply with a curfew and was absent from her home in Kyan Street several times.

Kerr, who has had heroin problems, had been given 12 weeks in prison, suspended for a year, with a curfew, for four theft offences last November. It was later extended to 18 months. She also received six weeks in custody, suspended for 12 months, with a curfew.

She appeared in court from custody and was freed, when the justices extended the curfew by 14 days, so that it ends on March 28th. They said it would not be just to impose custody.
