Jody Latham, who has starred in “Shameless” and “EastEnders”, was held on suspicion of growing and supplying cannabis, after police attended a house in Bacup, where he now lives, in the early hours of Friday.
A Lancashire police spokesman confirmed a 29-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of production and supply of cannabis.
He was also questioned in connection with a Section 39 assault and possession of an offensive weapon.
Jody, who attended Park High School, Colne, and Walton High School, Nelson, starred as Philip Gallagher in the Channel 4 drama “Shameless” between 2004 and 2008, and appeared as pimp Rob Grayson in “EastEnders” in February and March this year.
