Sex pest strikes twice near Turf Moor

POLICE are hunting a pervert who exposed himself twice to the same two women in Burnley.

The victims, in their 20s and from the Brunshaw area, were targeted by the flasher near Turf Moor, as they walked towards the town centre last Friday.

The first incident happened at 10-55 p.m. as the women walked along a back street between Brunshaw Road and Mizpah Street. Police said the man spoke to the women before exposing himself.

The women then decided to go home but changed their minds and continued towards town. They set off walking again and were confronted by the same man in Harry Potts Way 20 minutes later.

The second incident happened on a grassed area near elderly people’s residential accommodation opposite the players’ entrance at Turf Moor at 11-15 p.m.

Police said the flasher again spoke and exposed himself before running off. The women then called police.

The man is white, around 50 years old, of slim build, between 5ft. 5in. and 5ft. 8in. tall and spoke with a local accent.
