Security firm boasts trio of top industry awards

Alert Fire and Security Ltd, based in Wiseman Street, installs various alarms and CCTV equipment to homes and companies across the region.

It continues to rank at “Gold” level status according to the National Security Inspectorate, demonstrating that it has been audited against all applicable industry standards.

Alert, which recently celebrated its 21st anniversary, is also accredited to BAFE (British Approvals for Fire Equipment), an independent, third party registration organisation for the fire protection industry.

And thirdly, the firm is a full member of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA), the trade association for the professional security industry in the UK.

BSIA members are responsible for more than 70% of privately provided security products including the manufacture, distribution and installation of security equipment.

Alert managing director Trevor Shanley said: “We work hard to not only provide the highest level of quality to customers, both in terms of product and service, but also to constantly strive to be the best we can be.

“We are very proud of our record and these accreditations are testimony to our continuing progress and standing, but there will be no let-up in our pursuit of excellence across all areas.”
