Pendle, Burnley, Craven and Rossendale Samaritans hosted the event at St Thomas’ Church, Barrowford, on Bank Holiday Monday.

A plant fair, books, jewellery and stalls helped to support the charity’s round-the-clock support service in the area.

“We’re always here for callers – 24 hours a day, 364 days a year, but our service is entirely dependent on public donations to keep going. Last year alone, our branch responded to 27,671 calls. Whenever we’re needed, whatever the reason, we want to be here to help.”
