The Rotary Club of Burnley Pendleside marked its 34th Charter anniversary at Turf Moor.
Members and guests enjoyed an evening of food and fellowship topped off with entertainment by comedian Terry Cotta.
Club president Kevin Martin told the gathering that the past year had been a hugely-successful one with many local and international people and causes being supported by Burnley Pendleside.
The 2015 Pendle Pub Walk, organised by the club, raised more than £50,000 for Pendleside Hospice.
Assistant governor Miles Leadbeater praised the efforts of the club and called the amounts raised as ‘remarkable’.
Past president and Paul Harris Fellow Brian Doney was named as club Rotarian of the Year for his dedication and support to Rotary.
This year’s Pendle Pub Walk takes place on Saturday, June 18th.
The club is hoping that more than 1,000 walkers will take part in the event.
Walkers can register by logging onto Pendleside Hospice’s website www.pendleside.org.uk
