Ribble Valley pole dancers at Accrington Stanley launch

Serena Smith, owner of Waddington-based Dance Finesse, lent her support to Accrington Stanley’s 2011 share issue at its official launch event in Accrington.

By selling 9,999 shares, the club hopes to safeguard its financial future and raise funds for a new ground, as well as fostering stronger community links.

Serena (24) wowed crowds of shoppers and football fans with a range of impressive moves along with fellow experts Alice Molyneux (18) and Nic Harbord (19).

Dance Finesse, in Twitter Lane, runs a range of pole fitness classes for people of all abilities.

Serena said: “We had a superb time and it’s always great to educate people about the benefits of pole fitness.

“The share issue is a great idea as it’s important for people to show their support for our local football teams – we were pleased to be given the chance to take part in such a fantastic day.”
