Reverend spreads Easter message in Brierfield

For weeks before Easter, a church minister and his team are walking round Brierfield each day with a giant cross.

It is going on for more than 40 days and will remind people of the Christian importance of Easter.

Carrying the massive wooden cross is the Rev. Phill Ingram who is the minister at Living Hope Church in Halifax Road, Brierfield.

Joined by others, he walks through Reedley and the heart of Brierfield on to the border with Nelson, and then turns round and marches all the way back again. They started on March 3rd and will stop once Easter is here.
