Read author writes her first children’s book

A WRITER who lives in Read has launched her first children’s book.

Linda Sawley, who usually writes for adults, will make a donation from the sale of each copy of “Joshua and the Horrible History Project” to the Friends of Read St John’s Primary School, where she works.

She was inspired by pupils who asked if they could be in her book, and she has included the names of all the children in Class 4, along with some teachers and governors. The book was launched at Read Library.
