Prince’s Trust team give Brierfield Youth and Community Centre a facelift

A 13-strong team from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Prince’s Trust chose the Colne Road centre for their latest community project.

Pendle Team 42 spent two weeks in the building painting three of the rooms, creating new artwork for the walls, cleaning up and planting in the Peace Garden.

Team leader Sahdia Chaudhry said: “The team spent one week planning everything and raising the money before spending two weeks in the centre carrying everything out. They’ve done a really good job and everybody really enjoyed themselves.”
