Writing on the Facebook invitation page, Archbishop Justin says: “Storms are part of life. Even though we know this, we get frightened, distraught and despairing. Sometimes we assume that Jesus should stop all the storms.

“We ask ourselves: Where is God when it is stormy? What difference does He make? Or are we actually on our own?

Bishop Philip said: “I was delighted to receive the invitation to participate in this Facebook Live Bible Study.

“I know from our engagement locally here at The Church of England in Lancashire that Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media channels are powerful ways of reaching people in this country and far beyond.

“So to have the opportunity to study God’s word in the company of the Archbishop and with so many people worldwide will be a huge privilege which I am looking forward to immensely.”
