Police witness plea after car pair flee crash
Police are appealing for witnesses after the driver and front seat passenger fled the scene of an accident in Nelson.
The stolen 05-registered Toyota Corolla hit a wall in Walton Lane at the junction with Glenfield Road on Saturday at approximately 10am.
The £2,500 vehicle was taken from Fletcher Street in Nelson. Two back seat passengers were arrested by police and have been bailed pending further investigation.
