Police hope to reunite violin with owner

Staff at Burnley Police Station are asking for the owner of a lost violin to come forward.

The violin was handed into the station on Thursday, January 22nd, after it was found at a bus stop outside the Oaks in Colne Road.

There are no distinguishing marks on the violin but is it in a Stagg case, which has a Hello Kitty charm dangling from it.

The station usually destroys items of lost property after 30 days.

The owner should ring 101 and ask for Burnley front desk quoting 0266 23/1/15.
