Police close part of lane from Gisburn to Clitheroe on A59 Sawley Brow after accident

Officers have in the last hour had to close a part of a lane to motorists travelling from the Gisburn direction towards Clitheroe.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes until the road is reopened, which police believe should not hopefully take too long.

A police spokesman said: “We're hoping to have everything cleared within the next hour and will update you.”
