Police appeal to trace wanted men

POLICE are appealing for information about two men who are wanted on prison recall.

The first is Stephen Paul Robinson who is 28 and from Burnley.

Robinson was jailed in 2008 for possession of class A drugs with intent to supply but has since been released on licence. However, he has failed to comply with the conditions of that licence and so has been recalled to prison. He is also wanted for questioning in connection with an allegation of robbery from May 2011 in Clayton-le-Moors.

It is thought Robinson is still in the East Lancashire area and has links to Oswaldtwistle, Church, Colne and Accrington.

He is around 5ft. 9in. tall, has blue eyes and a local accent with a one-inch scar on his right forearm.

The second is Ronald Grimes (34), from Liverpool.

He is formerly of Green Street, Lancaster, and is known still to frequent the area but also has strong connections in Birkenhead and Netherton, Merseyside.

He was originally jailed for robbery in May 2004 when he was imprisoned for six years. He was released from prison on licence, however he has failed to comply with the conditions of that licence and has been recalled to prison.

He also is wanted for questioning in connection with an assault in Blackburn in May 2011.

Grimes is described as being around 5ft. 10in. tall with blue eyes and a Merseyside accent. He has four large scars on his lower left arm, and Chinese letter tattoos on both his arms and a 4in. scar on his right knee.
