Police received the report over a year ago, in November 2013, that a 30-year-old woman had been raped at a hotel in Seaton Burn.

The incident happened between 3am and 6am, on Sunday, November 10th, 2013, in a room at the Holiday Inn, Seaton Burn.

Officers are keen to speak to the man in the CCTV, or anyone who recognises him, as he may have vital information to assist with inquiries.

Inquiries have suggested the man pictured may be from Lancashire and officers are asking people in that area to contact police if they know who he is.

“We would ask anyone who recognises this man to contact police as he may be able to help with our investigation. We continue to support the victim and our officers are investigating all lines of inquiries.”

Anyone who with information is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101 ext 69191 or ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
