PHOTOS: Stonyhurst Triathlon is a huge success
Held at Stonyhurst College, the event attracted more than 200 compeitors and, despite less than favourable conditions, spectators turned out in force too. It also raised around £2,000 for local charity Crossroads Ribble Valley.
Vanessa said: “My mum Audrey was a great inspiration to me and others and I wanted to share this with more people.”

Its success also owed much to the support of Stonyhurst college, along with the Rotary Clubs of Clitheroe, Ribblesdale and Clitheroe Lions, and a host of individual volunteers, plus the many sponsors and providers of prizes. Winners were presented with their awards at The Bayley Arms, at Hurst Green.
