PHOTOS: Mayor of Pendle’s Sunday Parade
They set off from Colne British Legion Club along Keighley Road to the Skipton Road junction, where they turned down past the town’s new health centre, police station and fire station before moving up to Church Street, passing St Bartholomew’s and the town hall to get to the church over the road.
As well as councillors and officials, there were representatives from groups like Royal British Legion, Navy Cadets, St John Ambulance and Lancashire Constabulary.

Hide AdAlso on parade were individuals Pendle MP Andrew Stephenson, Pendle Council chief executive Stephen Barnes, Nelson Town Crier Coun.Tony Beckett. And Nelson Brass Band led the whole thing and provided the music.
Then the service took place at St John’s before the parade carried on down to The Muni. It was good Sunday weather, too.
