PHOTOS: Flower spectacular at Towneley Hall

Burnley’s ‘Jewel in the Crown’ Towneley Hall was a blaze of colour at the weekend.

The building was packed with around 300 floral displays with growers gathering from all over the north of England.

The hall’s Red Room and entrance area made for stunning backdrops.

As well as the normal floral displays, floral models brought the whole occasion to life as young and old packed into the hall.

More than 20 coachloads of out-of-town visitors visted the festival and sampled Towneley’s delights at first hand.
