Warm, sunny weather helped draw the crowds to the festival which featured attractions and activities for young and old alike.

A large outdoor stage provided a focal point for the day’s events with entertainment from musicians and dancers, while there were sports for youngsters to try, including bowling and football organised by Burnley FC in the Community. Vintage and classic cars, vans and motorcycles were on show.

Other stalls were manned by organisations including the RSPB, Barrowford in Bloom, Barrowford Nursery and Barrowford Primary School.

Festivals chairman Mrs Michelle Berkins said: “We would like to thank all the local residents and businesses for their support.

“We were thrilled we had a massive turnout at the Festival. It was to raise funds for Barrowford Park which is the hub of the village!”
