FAMOUS figures from the football world gathered in Burnley to say goodbye to former Clarets captain, player and manager Jimmy Adamson.
The club legend died last Tuesday aged 82, and former team-mates and players attended his funeral service at Burnley Crematorium on Monday.
Manchester United and England legend Sir Bobby Charlton was one of the mourners, as was Burnley great Jimmy McIlory, manager Eddie Howe and current club captain Chris McCann.
Chief executive, former player and friend Paul Fletcher gave a eulogy as did former player Martin Dobson, both of whom praised Jimmy’s management style.
