Simon Mellin, managing director and co-owner at Roaming Roosters said: “Our petting farm and education centre has always been extremely popular with both the local community and those travelling from further afield to come and visit us.

“The new facilities on site make us a real landmark in the area, offering families, schools, children and adults the chance to enjoy a day out, have fun, and learn more about the farming process and our animals.”

In addition, the team at Roaming Roosters can hold birthday parties and are liaising with local schools in the area; school groups can visit the site, listen to talks on each animal, hold the animals, take an animal quiz and get involved in an animal hunt.

Simon added: “With the bank holiday weekend, and summer just around the corner, this is the perfect time to showcase our farm, and create a place for families and the like to visit on a daily basis.”
