“You put a hamster in a floor ball, point it in the direction of plastic skittles and hope they run at them,” said Anita Workman, of the Northern Hamster Club. “You soon become entertained at how well they miss all the skittles while weaving around them!”

Also rolling into town was Crufts for hamsters!

Tommy Whitaker (8) came up tops with his Campbell’s Hamster in the Best Opposite Sex and Best in Show.

“The Syrian show was a clean sweep for Tommy (pictured right),” Anita said. “It just shows great hamsters can be owned by anyone of any age! We are all proud of him.”
