Youngsters got on their bikes to ride their way to success
Pupils from Padiham Primary School have pedalled their way to becoming accomplished cyclists.
Thirty three pupils took part in Bikeability, a national standard for better and safer cycling. Professional instructors went along to the school in Burnley Road to deliver the Bikeability course and the youngsters learned a range of skills, from preparing themselves and their cycles for biking, getting on and off their bikes without help, controlled pedalling, use of gears and riding around objects.
The students also learned how to ride safely on roads and they were all presented with certificates for passing the course.
