University Courses Burnley launches extra courses as countdown to new academic year begins

As the countdown to the new academic year begins University Courses Burnley (UCB) has added additional courses to its portfolio, expanding its already extensive offer of industry-ready qualifications for students to gain.

The new UCB courses have been approved by Pearson College London and cover the subject areas Applied Science and Performing Arts.

These are in addition to the Policing with Criminal Investigation honours degree which was announced recently.

UCB Dean Emma Hurst said: ‘Having different levels of courses on offer will be attractive to both undergraduates who want to step up and be career ready and employers who want to upskill their staff.

opportunity to break the mould and do something different. These additional courses are a welcome boost to our portfolio as we adapt and respond to our students demands – they won’t be the last!’

Commenting on the honours degree in Policing with Criminal Investigation which is part of the same portfolio addition at UCB – and was announced a few weeks ago, Emma added: ‘We’ve been delighted with the response to the release of this exciting new programme.
