Members decided to donate their food items to SafeSpace, a supported accommodation project based in East Lancashire for 16 to 21 year olds who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, including young people who are leaving care.

It has a number of projects to help support people to build emotional resilience, improve their emotional health and wellbeing, make positive choices, and improve their education and employment chances and move on to live independent lives.

The charity also provide supported accommodation for homeless young people, support to adults and children affected by domestic violence and early support to families who are struggling to cope. SafeSpace also delivers homeless awareness and prevention intervention throughout Burnley and Pendle.
