A popular welfare assistant said an emotional farewell to pupils and staff at a Burnley primary school.

Mrs Cath Cormack retired after 17 years at Holy Trinity Primary School.

A valued and popular member of staff, a farewell lunch was thrown for Mrs Cormack on her last day at the school before everyone said a fond goodbye to her.
