Property developer Jimmy Pilling has endeavoured to keep existing features in the Yorke Street property during the eight month renovation project.
He bought the three storey town centre building, which is at the bottom of Manchester Road and opposite the Mechanics, in 2018.

"The building was almost derelict on the first and second floor when I purchased it.
"When renovating the property I tried to keep existing features such as the handrail and ornate arch.
" All architraves for doors were manufactured at a local company as some of the originals were beyond repair."

All the glass for the windows, which was 147 separate panes in total, was bedded in with putty and pointed on the outside, replicating building practises that would have been used when the property was built.
The first and second floor has now been rented out to Kip MvGrath Maths and English tuition. The ground floor is rented out to different companies including Our Eddie's barbers, Carol of Sweeney Todd's, Delilah's Beauty and Kabello hair salon.
