Prince Philip 'a remarkable man' say Lancashire business chiefs

Babs Murphy, Chief Executive of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce said: “His Royal Highness, Prince Phillip the Duke of Edinburgh, was a remarkable man who will be remembered for his distinguished military career and his dedicated duty and service to public life.

“His passing will be a huge loss to our national Patron Her Majesty The Queen, The Royal Family, the country and commonwealth.”

The Blackpool-headquartered Federation of Small Businesses said: "Our thoughts are with the Queen and the Royal family following the sad news of the death of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh."
