Plans are also on the cards for tea dances or music from the 50s through to the 70s and once a month a professional entertainer will be at the club.

Pool and darts will be offered to the pensioners along with discounted drinks.

Work has been going on at the club during lockdown to help it sustain its postion as a valued community asset in the heart of Brierfield.

The kitchen has been extended and revamped to offer traditional bar snacks and meals and the club's opening times are to be extended.
