Police spoke to the person at the popular local beauty spot after he was spotted flying 100ft in the air on Saturday.
He was advised and directed toward home that it was not reasonable or necessary to be doing so during the current coronavirus lockdown.
A police spokesman said: "We engaged, explained, and encouraged this person in order for them to appreciate that they may not have made the best decision.
"Being over 100ft in the air may be socially isolating but should the worst happen what effect might that have on the emergency services.
"The person was suitably advised and directed toward home."
