Police 'increasingly concerned' for man and woman believed to be missing together from Nelson

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing man and woman.

Scott Johnson (54) who also goes by the name Christopher Potter, has been missing from the Marsden area of Nelson since Monday.

Lisa Smith (58) who is also missing from Nelson, was last in contact with her family yesterday.

Scott and Lisa, who also have links to Blackpool, the Fylde coast, and Southport, are believed to be travelling together.

Scott is described as white, with blue eyes, receding grey hair and is clean shaven.

Lisa is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall, of a medium build, with long tied back hair.

PC Neil Wells, of Lancashire Police, said: “We are become more and more concerned for Scott and Lisa’s welfare and we need the public’s help in finding them.

"We would ask that anybody who has seen them or has information on their whereabouts to get in contact with police straight away. We would also appeal directly to Scott and Lisa if they see this appeal to call police immediately to let us know you are OK.”

Anyone with information on Scott and Lisa’s whereabouts is asked to call police on 101, quoting log 0298 of September 25th, 2020.
