Officers in Pendle also arrested a suspected drink driver at the weekend while out on patrol.

They approached the vehicle after noticing it was parked in the middle of the road, blocking access to car parks at Letcliffe Park in Barnoldswick, at around 7-20pm on Saturday.

PCSO Ivan Hartley said: "On speaking to the driver it became apparent they were intoxicated so a PC was called for and when they arrived the driver was breathalysed and arrested at the scene after failing a breath test."

The anti-social behaviour incidents happened the night before.

Three youths were reprimanded for running up a slide and climbing down the frame on the play area at Ball Grove nature reserve off Winewall Road in Colne.

Two of the three, who were part of a 15 strong group of males and females, apologised for their actions but as the third one became argumentative the entire group was dispersed.

An hour later the same group of youths were sat on the King George V park in Skipton Rd and officers spotted the same three culprits throwing an object at other seated members of the group. The park has been plagued by gangs of youths running amok recently and police are working with Pendle Borough Council in a bid to crack down on this behaviour.

PCSO Hartley said: " I walked over to three youths, one of whom disappeared into the bushes, and the two didn’t see me until I spoke to them.

"These two where spoken to about their behaviour and the third youth from earlier identified as he rode off on his bike.

"These two were taken home and spoken to with parents and the third youth will be dealt with at a later date."
