A Padiham teenager has sacrificed 15 inches of her crowning glory for a very deserving cause.

Sophie Ramsbottom who is 13, was ready for a style change after growing her hair waist length.

When she heard about the Little Princess Trust, that makes wigs for terminally ill children, she decided to have it cut and donate it to the trust.
