Sophie Ramsbottom who is 13, was ready for a style change after growing her hair waist length.

When she heard about the Little Princess Trust, that makes wigs for terminally ill children, she decided to have it cut and donate it to the trust.

A student at Shuttleworth Community College in Padiham, Sophie underwent the chop at home courtesy of her proud mum Jueann, a qualified complementary therapist.

Sophie, who has a brother Owen who is 15, set up a donation page and so far she has raised £260 for the Princess Trust but donations can still be made by clicking HERE.
