Online French and Spanish classes for tots helps East Lancashire business to raise £1,000 for NHS charities

Kirsty Burrows, a former International business manager, started BilinguaSing East Lancashire in 2015 after having her first child and since then has taught Spanish and French to countless children and their families.

When the Covid-19 pandemic halted classes, BilinguaSing acted very quickly to provide online activities for all the children and their parents at home. And for the past 5 weeks, four BilinguaSing teachers from around the country have worked hard to create stimulating, exciting, educational and fun experiences online for children up to the ge of 11, raising much-needed funds for the NHS.

Kirsty said:"“Over the first five weeks of online classes, we were proud to donate £765 to NHS Charities Together.

"Our team have just started a new five week term of language activities online, and thanks to our valued customers, and other donations, we have now reached our total target of £1000.

"The online activities have now been enjoyed by more than 100 families. Thank you so very much to everyone who has participated.”
