Motorists in Pendle urged to take care after ice and freezing rain hit
Motorists in Pendle are being urged to remain cautious after the cold snap brought ice to many parts of the borough.

Due to the icy weather, police have this morning (Friday) been at the scene of an accident on the main road from Blacko to Gisburn.
A spokesman for Colne and West Craven Police said: "Please take care when driving on the roads this morning. Due to recent wet weather and a drop in temperature we have had to attend an accident on the main road from Blacko to Gisburn.
"Please adjust your speed. The roads may appear fine, but micro climates can affect roads, especially in open rural areas."
