Man who hid drugs in cereal box at his Burnley home sent to prison

A man who hid drugs in a cereal box in his home has been sentenced to 32 months in prison.

Matthew Hefford (33) of Thorn Street, Burnley, was arrested by the Targeted Crime Team in Burnley on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, namely crack cocaine and heroin, on March 5th.

Hefford was found with several individual street deals of crack cocaine and heroin, cash and two mobile phones.

A search of his home address uncovered more drugs hidden in a cereal box.

He has now pleaded guilty to the charges and has been sentenced to 32 months.
