Inspirational Pendle businesswoman and entrepreneur becomes best selling author

Laura Nazir, who is from Nelson, provides education and training in the beauty industry for women who want to continue their professional development and enter the luxury bridal and events industry.

She collaborated with 17 other female entrepreneurs to publish ‘It Starts With Me: An Anthology Of The Magic That Happens When Women Reclaim Their Strength And Their Stories’ and within hours of its release it became a bestseller on Amazon book charts.

The book celebrates voices which need to be heard, in a bid to inspire others that anything is possible, even when faced with huge barriers.

The book was number one in nine categories, including 15 hottest 'new release' categories, overtaking Robin Sharma’s popular book ‘The 5am club’ and Simon Sinek’s global best seller ‘Start With Why’ in the Business and Finance category.

Laura (34) is a hair and makeup educator and she outlines her mission as being one to help women become specialists in the industry, through her level-up training courses and business mentoring.

In ‘‘It Starts With Me’ she tells of how events in her life affected her confidence and how she had to make choices and ultimately chose to rise-up.

Laura said: “Its a dream come true to become an author and I am so happy that this book has become a bestseller.
