IN PICTURES: How Cliltheroe marked Remembrance Sunday

Civic dignataries, veterans and special guests stood socially-distanced to pay their respects to the war dead on Remembrance Sunday.

Traditional Remembrance events - such as parades and other commemorative acts - could not take place this year owing to the restrictions brought on by the coronavirus pandemic. Therefore, a short Service of Remembrance was held at the war memorial in Clitheroe for invited guests only.
