Husband-and-wife-owned Lancashire food company claims top honour at 2020 Nourish Awards

An independent Lancashire food company owned by a husband-and-wife team has won a prestigious award at the 2020 Nourish Awards.

Based in Rossendale, The Nowt Poncy Food Company claimed their gong in the Best Pasta, Pizza and Convenience Food category for their L’Amore E Pizza Sauce, with co-founders Julian Abel and Karen Walker also receiving commendations in the Cupboard Essentials & Ingredients and Low & Reduced Sugar categories, too.

Held online and hosted by chef, nutritionist, and author Naomi Devlin, the awards saw products tested and scrutinised by qualified and practising nutritionists and leaders in the food, drink, and business sectors.
