Held on Friday 25th May, teams of four each chipped in £160 to take part in a round of golf in the name of the hospice, while a number of local businesses also showed their support by jumping at the chance to sponsor a hole for £100, with the final fundraising total reaching £3,250.

Sponsored by Fantrac Global Ltd, James Brearley & Sons, and Margins Financial Solutions Ltd, attendees at the golf day were also treated to refreshments along the course and a carved buffet upon finishing, while a raffle with fantastic prizes was held following the awards ceremony at the end of the day, rewarding teams who placed first, second, and third with prizes.
