Firefighters put out Burnley car blaze

Crews were called to extinguish a "well alight" vehicle fire in Girvan Grove in the early hours of Sunday.

A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue said: "Firefighters from Burnley attended. The vehicle was well alight on the roadway when crews arrived and they quickly extinguished the fire using a hose reel.

"They were in attendance approximately 50 minutes."

Burnley
