Dramatic image captures firefighters battling wildfire on open land linking Nelson to Burnley
This dramatic image was captured by firefighters last night as they tackled a blaze on open land.

Crews from Nelson were called out to the fire on grassland behind Nelson Golf Club towards the Clockhouse Grove estate in Burnley.
Although the scenes looks intense one crew was able to put out the flames without any additional assistance.
But the fire prompted a stark warning from Lancashire Fire and Rescue for people to stay at home to avoid the risk of starting 'nuisance' blazes of this nature.
