That was the verdict by four work colleagues who tackled a coast to coast cycle ride challenge to raise money for Burnley's Pendleside Hospice.

Eddie Hurst, Stuart Pound, Paul Lyons, Ian Parry, who all work at the Senator group in Altham, got on their bikes for the challenge to pedal from Hadrian's Wall from Ravenglass to Tynemouth.

They were supported on the epic 174 mile hike over three days by driver Craig Berry. And their superb efforts raised £596 for the hospice.

Eddie, who came up with the idea, said: "This was a fabulous adventure done with great friends and we made lifelong memories.

"We achieved what we set out to do and that was to raise money for a fantastic local charity, Pendleside Hospice.

"And funnily enough I would do it all again in the blink of an eye."
