As she approaches the end of her two-year Health and Social Care Level 3 extended diploma, Anne (20) is set to study operating department practice at the University of Huddersfield.

Talking about her experience of her college course, Anne said: “Blackburn College helped me build up a wide range of work experience which has enhanced my skills. I am now more prepared for the future, which starts by going to university. I have received great support from my tutors, gained vital knowledge and worked out what I want to study next through a lot of placement opportunities.”
